The weight of high-energy-density lithium-ion batteries is half that of nickel-cadmium or nickel-hydrogen batteries of the same capacity, and the volume is 20-30% of nickel-cadmium and 35-50% of nickel-hydrogen.

High voltage The operating voltage of a single lithium-ion battery is 3.7V (average), which is equivalent to three series-connected nickel-cadmium or nickel-metal hydride batteries.

Pollution-free lithium-ion batteries do not contain harmful metal substances such as cadmium, lead, and mercury.

Metal-free Lithium-ion batteries do not contain lithium metal, so they are not subject to restrictions on aircraft transportation such as the prohibition of carrying lithium batteries on passenger planes.

High cycle life Under normal conditions, the charge and discharge cycles of lithium-ion batteries can exceed 500 times, and lithium iron phosphate can reach 2,000 times.

No memory effect The memory effect refers to the phenomenon that the capacity of the nickel-cadmium battery decreases during the charge-discharge cycle. Li-ion batteries do not have this effect.

Fast charging uses a constant current and constant voltage charger with a rated voltage of 4.2V, which can fully charge the lithium-ion battery within 1.5-2.5 hours; while the newly developed lithium-iron phosphorus battery can be fully charged within 35 minutes.
